Mike Robinson

Mike Robinson is an educator, naturalist/guide and social change agent. He owns and operates Tiderise Consulting, and has worked with many progressive organizations that deliver leadership and personal growth programming. These include Royal Roads University, Inclusive Leadership Adventures, Power of Hope, Green Party of Canada, Terra-centric Adventures, Alberta Ministry of Education, Community Advisory Associations, Career-link and The Earth Charter,

A lifelong learner, Mike has recently completed his Masters degree in Leadership at Royal Roads University. His experience includes local and international community development work, political campaigning, and facilitating many forms of outdoor adventure learning programs. Mike believes wholesome and sustainable communities have an intrinsic dependency on a healthy and intact ecosystem.

Mike works cooperatively with the Beatboard and other youth leadership programs to offer young people transformational and experiential education opportunities that serve to empower and motivate. 

His other areas of interest include the application of conceptual tools for personal and organizational change, participatory democracy, and academic research on sustainable initiatives. Mike offers programs for both youth and adults.
